3D Artist for 3D design and modeling

We are looking for a freelancer, who has the following skills and competences. please send some samples of your work to evaluate the quality.

Specific skills and competences

1. excellent 3D modeling skills and knowledge of UV mapping and texturing

2. excellent low poly modeling skills for real time

3. excellent ability to create low poly versions of complex models (eg.: creation of bump or normal maps to apply to models with fewer triangles)

4. excellent ability to create 3D models from photographs and real-world objects

5. excellent knowledge of one of the 3D modeling tools (eg.: Blender, Maya, 3D Studio Max, etc.). In particular, the models must be exportable and importable in Unity3D, format .fbx

6. practical knowledge of Unity3D to improve the performance of the models (eg.: LightMapping, baking, etc.)

7. familiar with animating 3D characters and 3D objects


Skills and general skills

a) excellent knowledge of English, both spoken (fluid) and written

b) collaborative, have to work closely with the project manager and web developer

c) good communication skills and attitude to teamwork

d) pro-active, able to suggest improvements

e) interest in video games and virtual reality and able to keep updated on general trends and industry trends

f) creative and able to extrapolate the trend elements inspired by images, ideas and concept transmitted verbally or in writing

g) able to understand the project requirements and to develop 3D models of high quality accordingly
