AWS Expert (Dev Ops) (US)

Looking for a US based Full-stack AWS Expert with minimum 5 years experience. The best candidate can not only perform the job but also manage another developer or two as part of a small team (3 max). The management part requires being very organized and ability to write up tickets and stay on top of engineering to complete in a timely manner. If you feel you can also manage, please mention this in your cover letter.

Ideal candidate is AWS Certified in the following areas:
- AWS Solutions Architect
- AWS SysOps Administrator
- AWS Developer

Skills Required:
-AWS Systems Manager
-DevOps
-AWS IAM
-Linux System Administration
-AWS Lambda
-Terraform for AWS
-Design reliable infrastructures using infrastructure-as-code concepts
-Write custom monitoring and integrated monitoring methods into deployment
-Manage multiple AWS accounts, enforced network security, user/group permissions, service performance, and cost.
-CI/CD

Job tasks include:
Discuss our needs in AWS
Provide guidance on best practices
Configuring our development AWS system, and
Training ActivePrime on what has been configured.
DNS transfer
Check our current AWS stack against the AWS well-architected framework (cost-optimization, scalability, reliability, performance efficiency, security, and operational excellence)
Designing and deploying scalable, highly available, and fault tolerant systems on AWS
Lift and shift of an existing on-premises application to AWS
Selecting the appropriate AWS services based on data, compute, database, or security requirements
Identifying appropriate use of AWS architectural best practices
Estimating AWS costs and identifying cost control mechanisms
Automation for build and deploy app from Git (GitLab) repository to AWS (EC2, Lambda, ECS, BeanStalk, S3, etc.)
Develop automation with Python scripting and/or Ansible.
Develop code to automate server builds, OS patches, and deployment of applications to dev, test, and production environments.
Containerize native applications to run with AWS including minimal steps to build & deploy (git push) using CICD tools
Troubleshooting VPC/Networking & communication issues
Tighten security
Automate existing workflows and CI/CD pipelines

Tools Experience:
Terraform, Ansible, GitLab, Python, Docker, Composer
