Virtual Public Relations Assistant

Looking for a seasoned publicist with proven experience pitching general market and African-American consumer and trade press (print/broadcast/online.) Must have excellent communication skills; strong writing proficiency to develop media materials (press releases, media alerts, bios, etc.); experience in creating strong media lists and effective media pitches; producing post-event PR re-cap reports; the ability to multitask and to meet tight deadlines. Social media engagement (posts, etc.) is a plus.
