Graphic designer to create digital mockups and prepare images for our sales pages and social media

Looking for a designer who can help us with day to day graphic design tasks.

You will be responsible for the following:

1. take covers and images people give you, and turn them into mockups

2. cleanup / edit / update covers and images as need be (making small modifications to graphics, such as width, height, size, color, filter, etc.)

3. create covers from scratch when submissions dont meet our standards (this happens very rarely, less than 15% of the time, and we currently use Canva to create these new covers so its not usually complicated or hard)

4. optimize images (using tinypng or equivalent)

5. upload to wordpress and/or prep images for distribution

We currently use Canva for all of our design, editing, and mockup work.

The way it all works:

Every month, we receive 30 - 100 submissions of digital products. These submissions include cover art / cover images...and we need to take those covers and prepare them for our sales pages.

Most of the time, its just taking the image, creating the mockup (e.g. turn it into an ebook using our templates...or add the image to a computer monitor mockup or ipad mockup, etc.), optimizing the image, and uploading...

Sometimes we have to create something from scratch. In that case, we take the title / subtitle / author, and create a new design for them from scratch. We do this in canva right now. New covers from scratch only take a few minutes (we just use Canvas pre-created cover templates and tweak them just a bit to make them shine...heres an example of finished work, creating a new cover from scratch for someone and it only took a few min with canvas templates
This is a part-time gig to start. What I just described is probably only a few hours of work a week, but id like to expand on this if you are good and have you create more of our graphics. Please include panda as the first word of your message or application to us so i know you read this.
