3D Modeler/Package Design

CTG is assisting a premier client is staffing a Freelance 3D Model Designer/Packaging Design for an as needed contract. We are looking for someone that the client can call on for short term, small projects in 3D modeling as needed.

This will be a remote/work from home role - the person can be located anywhere in the US.



Pay is based on Experience.

3D Model Designer Job Description:

As an XMPie 3D Model Application Services designer you will be well versed with industry standard 3D modeling programs and tools.

3D models are used by the Client StoreFlow variable data products to render real-time customization during online order online.

Client Application Serivces Designers use their knowledge of relevant tools to translate customer needs into models either by modifying existing open source or licensed models or designing and creating new models.

3D Model Designer Skills:

The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) reported that 3D artists must hold the following traits:

- Networking and business skills

- Ability to showcase artistic works in a portfolio

- Collaborative personality and willingness to work with other artists

- Artistic talent and computer skills

- Creativity

3D Model Designer requirements and qualifications:

- Knowledge of 3D editing tools such as Origami, IC3D, and Blender

- An eye for detail and good visualization skills

- Ability to take feedback and make changes as required

- Good communication skills

- Minimum 2 years of experience in 3D design and modeling

- Some scripting experience will be an added bonus

- Experience with XMPie StoreFlow is a plus

Experience with 3D models of packaging desired (examples would be anything from juice box to corrugated box product packaging).
