Refactor Existing Android 4.4 Code to run on Specific Hardware

We run a wholesale warehouse. Our members use an app to place orders (the current version is available on both the App Store and Google Play).

We recently hired an outside firm to re-write both the Android and iOS applications in their native languages. The iPhone app came out great and is working fine. The Android App is working fine as well, but it has performance issues when we run it on a CipherLab RS30, which runs Android 4.4. Unfortunately, we have supplied a large number of these devices to our members, so any app revisions should have at least equivalent performance to the app as it runs today.

The firm we hired was unable to match the performance of the current app on the same hardware.

Were looking for any Android developer who can take their code and cross the finish line with it. We have a list of specific issues, but the primary problem is performance at this point, the rest are cosmetic. We will supply you with a CipherLab device and I can send you the code we have upon request.

This project has been delayed significantly beyond the stakeholders expectations so were looking for as fast a turn around time as possible.

Depending on how this goes, we will need additional changes after we deploy this version of the app so were looking for someone dependable to start a relationship with.
