I have a Postgres 11 database hosted on Amazon RDS with tables containing millions of rows.
Some queries used to take 10 seconds to complete but now take many minutes. The RDS Current Activity bar is constantly red, indicating heavy load on the DB.

The job consists of:
- Analyzing which queries take long to complete and improving them if possible
- Help create proper indexes. I have created some basic indexes but I feel there is a lot more to gain with using some more complex indexes.
- Log in to the Amazon RDS portal to analyze the DB metrics and possibly change configurations
