We are looking for a literacy consultant or experienced teacher to develop a new reading programme to take children from their first steps through to becoming fully-independent and confident readers.

This plan will be used to guide our authors and editors on word count, grammar, vocabulary, sentence length, etc.

At each stage of the reading programme, we would like the following summarised:

- The children it is appropriate for and their approximate age(s).
- Themes / genres
- Grammar and punctuation
- Vocabulary
- Content
- No. of words
- Sentence length
- Examples of existing books as a reference
