Data Analyst - UK/European Energy Markets

My client is looking for a Data Analyst to work with them on a project.

The successful candidate will have market and energy supply sector general knowledge, an understanding of how the market works, main functions, past, drivers, trends, etc.

The successful candidate will be introduced to the team; who my client is and what they do.

Furthermore, the successful candidate will be coached about the whole project (if project-specific) or our present work and their role.

He/she will not be directly interfaced with our clients.

The candidate we seek to board by mid-June, his/her main work will focus on research and data interpretation and analysis.

The ideal candidate would be a mid-level energy supply analyst that was exposed to different projects and has the capability to understand how the market works.

Their main responsibilities will be research and analysis, the ability to present their work in a structured sequential manner.

My client would like to meet with the successful candidate once a week/month to discuss progress, challenges and get updates of their work.

Salary: TBN
Duration: 6 months (with the potential for it to be long term)
Location: Remote (candidate must be able to visit Manchester weekly or monthly)
