DevOps Engineer

We are looking for an experienced system engineer for ongoing support of our product infrastructure which runs on Digital Ocean (Ubuntu 18.04), Docker, Ansible, Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, Redis, Nginx, Puma. The product is a SaaS for the marketing industry, theres a lot of important background jobs but no high load on the server.

Our team will always be happy to help, but you should be capable of figuring things out yourself with no hand-holding and be able to look at configuration, code, documentation, DB structure and get an idea of what the application is trying to do. Also, were a remote team located in different time zones, so without good verbal and written communication skills, youll be lost ;)

This is a part-time role, up to 20hrs per month.

Responsibilities:
- staging and live servers support, assure site reliability
- ensure quality and best-practices for provisioning, deploying, security, and monitoring
- app and infrastructure centralized logging, monitoring and alerts
- integrate new applications and services into CI/CD workflows (SemaphoreCI, Ansible, Capistrano)
- migration to Docker


Requirements:
- 3+ years experience with DevOps
- Strong experience in configuration, maintenance, automated deployment of web servers, load balancers, relational databases
- Ability to rapidly learn new software, frameworks, and APIs
- Familiarity with Ruby on Rails will be a plus
- Proper English verbal and written communication skills
- Problem-solving mindset
