Machinist or Metal Fabricator/Fitter Subject Matter Expert to Help Create Assessment Tests

We are looking for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) to help create assessment tests with in-depth knowledge of Machinist or Metal Fabricator/Fitter skills to collaborate with us as we develop an assessment for job seekers. Applicants should have 4+ years of experience in this area.

We have an established process for creating assessments, so you wont be working from scratch. Well provide templates and training materials to guide you in turning your expertise into a pool of high-quality test items. The primary job tasks will be:

1. Identifying basic Machinist or Metal Fabricator/Fitter skill sets
2. Creating test questions to evaluate those skills

This project should take from 5-10 hours total, depending on which aspects you work on. Youll need to be available for at least some regular, perhaps daily work/iteration for the next 2 weeks (approximately 8/10 - 8/24). Please apply ONLY if you have availability within this window. It will consist of writing questions and then iterating to improve those questions, or reviewing already drafted questions. Please be prepared for an iterative process where we will be reviewing and editing items together.
