MySQL INNODB DATABASE REPLICATION AND BACKUP PROCEDURE

Our production database is hosted on a Google Cloud Platform. Currently the size of of database is around 350 GB and growing everyday.
We need to implement a replication service so that there is always a copy of main database, and can switch back and forth between the two in case of any disaster.
Also a separate daily/weekly backup/restore process to be implemented.
