Product Design Intern
Part time, 4-6 weeks

Job Overview
This role will augment our 4 person team and contribute heavily to taking a consumer product design from CAD to the market. Were looking for an energetic self-starter who is comfortable working remotely and taking on responsibility.

Responsibilities and Duties
This remote role is responsible for coordinating design and manufacturing activities between JAKD Creative, LLC and our business partners, including but not limited to:
- Sourcing manufacturers for plastic injection molded parts
- Coordinating design changes
- Sourcing additional parts required to complete product assembly
- Negotiating manufacturing cost
Qualifications
- Education: Current student or recent graduate from a design or manufacturing program is preferred
- Experience: Some design and/or manufacturing experience is helpful
- Experience with CAD software, preferably Fusion 360
- Soft skills: Attention to detail, Strong written and verbal communication skills, Conscientious, Self-starting
