Review programming exercises for a new startup – long-term potential

Woven is a fast-growing startup on a mission to make the developer hiring process more evidence-based and fair. Were looking for a few great people to join our software engineering scenario analysis team, where youll help us evaluate responses and solutions from dozens of candidates each week.

## Youll get to:

- Get better at reading, writing, reviewing, and debugging code

## Your key responsibilities:

- Coordinate daily with the exercise analysis team in Slack and Trello
- Video chat with other team members to resolve scoring differences
- Read and interpret complex written English responses to communication and collaboration scenarios
- Read and debug simple programs in a variety of languages and frameworks, most notably JavaScript and React
- Please apply even if you are not an expert in these technologies! One of our scorers had minimal JavaScript experience and taught himself the basics of React during his first week of training. Hes able to score advanced React exercises now using our predefined rubrics.

## Requirements:

- Available for at least 2 hours each weekday between 10am - 4pm Eastern US time (UTC-4/-5)
- Fluent written and spoken English communication
- Advanced Beginner proficiency in at least one programming language, ideally C#, Java, Python, Ruby, or JavaScript
