To finish rewriting a legacy ASP.NET WinForms application in ASP.NET Core MVC. The legacy application does not support IE11 which is the main client requirement.
The new application is already started and is around 50% complete. The aim is to complete the project using the same patterns and practices already established.
The development environment is hosted on a virtual machine and is preconfigured and ready to run.
The project uses modern frameworks including ASP.NET MVC Core, Vue.js, SignalR and SQL Server queries sent to SQL Reporting Services. It has a simple repository built with Dapper. It uses simple javascript (no build). It requires some basic manipulation of XML.
