Turkish Language Proficiency Rater

As a TransPerfect language proficiency Rater, you will be administering speaking, writing and/or reading tests in your native language and, possibly, in English. You will administer these tests from your home and often the candidate will be live online with you. Tests are conducted via online conference software so no costs are incurred by you. You will need a solid internet connection and a quality headset.
Tests may take around 30 minutes to administer depending on the test. After each test is administered, you will rate the candidates performance and send your report to your TransPerfect Project Manager. You will be compensated for each test you successfully complete.
Additional expectations:
- We expect that you are experienced providing written feedback on someones spoken or written language proficiency and can do this quickly and accurately.
- We expect all Raters to have 10-15 hours available to test per week at a minimum.
- In general, tests reports are expected to be submitted on the same day the test was administered.
- You will need to be familiar with the Common European Framework for Reference for Languages (CEFR) guidelines.
- You will need to complete some self-guided instruction on the CEFR guidelines and TransPerfects test administration processes.
- You will also need to participate in live, online training after the self-instruction is complete.
- You will be expected to take part in monthly training (calibration) activities and regular coaching sessions with a Lead Rater.
