Import your profile

Import your profile

Introducing profile imports in freelancing world, for the first time ever.

You might be a top rated freelancer on a website but always a beginner when starting on other one. It takes years to earn these ratings on any marketplace but all goes in vein when you try other website. Ratings and feedbacks make a freelancer stand out of the crowd and get the project. But the pain is none of the marketplaces ever tried to respect the freelancer’s hard work and past ratings. If you are a serious freelancer, you must already know that you cannot depend on any one website for all your work. But when starting on other website, there is always a first time and nobody knows you here. It will again take years to make same reputation here. That is why you need a profile import, to save these ‘years’ and get benefitted for what you have earned in past.

After a long time of research and development, team Toogit invented this feature to import your ratings and reviews from other websites and add them in your Toogit profile. Here is how toogitters can save these ‘years’ and import their profiles:

Step I

Login, the first page you see is dashboard. Click your name at top right corner and then click settings.

My Profile -> Settings

Step II

At LHS, click on Import profiles.

Step III

You will now have this page. Enter link to your upwork profile in the given box and make sure to copy the secret ID.

Step IV

Most important thing is we won’t import your profile unless you verify its authenticity. That’s why you copied the secret ID. Now login to your profile on the other site, paste the secret ID in the beginning of your profile description and save(you can delete it after import).

Step V

Come back to Toogit profile import and click ‘Submit’.

Now you have all your ratings, feedbacks and reputation imported to your Toogit profile. Enjoy Toogitting. Note : At the moment only Upwork profiles can be imported. We will add more sites in coming days. If your profile is not on upwork which websites would you want to import your profile from? Write us at
