We currently use WordPress Ashe Theme and are having issues with the ability to edit/customize sections of the site on the back end because the developer who put it together may have encrypted the site and we can no longer reach that person. We also want to have some plugins such as DiviBuilder, FormidablePro CCSHero or something similar installed and the cost added to the bided quote. Below is a list of issues I've noted:
Correcting the timestamp so when we make posts/pages the correct publish date appears.
Updating all add-ons/plug ins and working out any bugs that may occur due to updates.
We're unable to edit parts of the website and can't find where they are located in the customize editing dashboard (credibility footer, some pages have a leave a reply and a link to our Facebook page and other don't and I'm not sure how to remove the leave a reply and how to get the Facebook share link onto all).
Overall Issues with site having html code rather than visual edit capability in the customize platform (not able to edit in the customize setting).
What is the best way to enhance the editability and ease of use for our site? Would changing the website theme help, or possibly putting all into onto a new host like Wix or Square Space or something else?
