Required Data Science & Analytics,Data Mining & Management freelancer for Coder required for derivatives trading algorithm job

We are seeking quantitative and algorithmic coders to help develop an options trading algorithm.

As such, we are seeking outstanding individuals with advanced quantitative and programming abilities to join our team.

Leveraging knowledge of algorithms and high-performance computing;
Designing, implementing, and maintaining trading strategies that run on our platform.

Technical skills Required:

• Strong technical skills in C# real-time, multithreaded, high availability
  
• A bachelor's, master's, or PhD degree in computer science, mathematics, or a hard-science from a top university. An advanced degree in computer science is a plus.
• Math/Stats/Science/Finance/Engineering/Computer Science/etc.
  
• Interest in financial markets *demonstrated by degree program, work experience, or personal projects.
  
• Analytical and entrepreneurial thinker
  
• Programming skills, preferably in Python (NumPy, Pandas, etc.)
  
• Solid in Excel; VBA a plus
  
• Database skills a plus
  
• Experience and ideally expertise in time series analysis, econometrics, machine learning, and/or optimization
  
• Experience with scientific computing, algorithm development, or pattern recognition.
  
• A background in developing high-performance, multi-threaded applications.
  
• Strong programming skills (Java, C, or C++) & scripting languages (Perl, Python, UNIX shell).
  
• Strong object-oriented programming skills and design patterns
  
• Experience with performance testing and profiling
  
• Understanding of distributed design concepts including computer architecture and network architecture.
