The purpose is to understand how the COCOMO model can be modified to work in the context of scrum based projects. The focus is on integrating the COCOMO model with the fuzzy based model for effort estimation in scrum projects. Specifically, i want to integrate cost drivers, size and mode from the COCOMO model into the effort estimation model that is used for scrum based projects ( i will give a source for this).
The proposed model shall be formulated and subsequently tested in MATLAB to understand whether the integration improves the precision, accuracy and reliability of the cost and effort estimation during the project. Data for this simulation will also be provided.
