Looking for a SCO unix Specialist to assist us with an issue with a SCO unix server.
We are experiencing a number of performance issues with our SCO unix server. The issue is related to multiple sendmail processes being spawned and accumulating in our system. Once spawned they continue to run until manually killed.
We need to identify why they are being triggered and stop them.
The server runs business critical systems so can not be shutdown during the day. Only one application is run on the server - and ERP system.
the ERP vendors have assured us the sendmail processes are not being triggered by their application as it does not use the sendmail module which is being triggered.
This is an urgent task that needs immediate attention.
Backups MUST be performed before commencing work. Access will be provided once the project is awarded.
