As a Salesforce developer you are to work closely with key internal stakeholders to drive the successful operation of the Salesforce platform within our business.
You will be creating & implementing new workflows, keeping on top of all ongoing maintenance & providing continuous ideas on the improvements/enhancements of the system, based on user feedback & your own observation.
You will also work alongside multiple business stakeholders to assess requirements & develop solutions that will improve the user experience, aligning with the vision of our team & overall business strategy. Your goal is to be constantly evolving the system to make our people's work lives as easy as possible!
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborating with various internal departments to brainstorm / identify business problems & transform business needs into actionable requirements & functionality.
- Interacting directly with users to provide support for the Salesforce environment, especially related to customised applications, user permissions, security settings, custom objects & workflows.
- Assisting in running training sessions to ensure everyone in the business has necessary technical skills for their role to utilise the systems.
- Create reports, dashboards, grids, workflows, & integrations with 3rd party systems.
- Driving enhancements, optimizing performance & troubleshooting defects within Salesforce (includes developing Salesforce functionality to solve business problems).
- Building & managing reports & dashboards.
- Identifying & delivering process improvements in an ever evolving environment.
- Ensuring data between Salesforce & our partner systems is consistent & clean.
- Handling IT issues reported by users.
Key Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of relevant Salesforce Development experience.
- Sales and Service Cloud Experience.
- Must have experience using Salesforce Lightning.
- Relevant Salesforce certifications.
- Deep knowledge of Salesforce, user training, workflows, reports, page layouts, process builders, dashboards & content management tests & deployments.
- Strong attention to detail while working in a fast paced environment.
- A+ technical background.
- Excellent troubleshooting & problem solving skills.
- Ability to demonstrates maturity when taking on criticism & has the willingness to work with others, internal & external.
- Capability to communicate effectively with non-technical personnel.
