I am currently looking to work with a freelancer to develop content for video scripts between 750-950 words long each for a learning module on IT and Data Management specifically. There are a number of different topics to choose from and if we consider the quality of your work to meet our high-standards, we will contact you again for upcoming similar projects.
What we are developing
The content will be developed for beginners and will cover the essential concepts only, explained in an everyday language that is easy to understand. You do not need to have advanced knowledge of IT or specialise in any of its topics to write the video scripts we are looking to develop. However, you must have some content development/blogging/writing experience to apply for this job.
Deliverable format and specification
The script will cover 4 of the topics below (1 topic per script so 4 scripts in total). You are welcome to send us your topic preferences and we will take your preferences into account when assigning work for other freelancers.

Please refer to the Video Script Template for more instructions. All scripts need to be delivered in this template and follow the exact same structure.
Each script will also need to have an introduction and closing, included in the word count. They shouldn't be longer than 2-3 sentences each. Please find an example of a good introduction/closing in the template document. The document has been populated with sample text to help you better visualise the finished deliverable.
The job will consist of the following stages and workflow:
1) Selection of the topics
Search the web for a blog post that covers this topic on a basic/overview level or is directly related to it. It is essential that the blog post you select is:
- Written in a language that is easy to understand and doesn't rely heavily on previous understanding of the topic.
- IT-specific terminology should always be explained in a language that is easy to understand for someone with little previous experience in IT.
- Is aimed at adult beginners in IT and covers aspects that are useful information for them (such as what it is, what it's used for, its history, advantages and disadvantages, its uses and implementation, case studies, its primary roles and functions etc.)
2) Restructure it into subsections so that the content is logical and easy to follow. Use bullet points and lists, where relevant.
3) Please save the original URLs of the blog posts you have used for reference.
Other important aspects:
You can combine 2-3 blog articles into 1 script, if you wish. However, if you do that, please make sure to include all URLs inside the document for reference.
The delivery time is 3 days.
The remuneration is $40 for all 4 scripts or, alternatively, $10 per 1 script.
