Slingwave is seeking a data engineer who is familiar with multiple cloud-based repositories of advertising / marketing data (Google Cloud / Ads Data Hub / Big Query; Facebook) to extract and centralize data into a unified, cloud-based marketing data warehouse that can be queried via SQL.
We have worked closely with our clients to capture and structure multiple years' worth of digital advertising and customer transactional data. You will be responsible for unifying that data single complete data set that follows Slingwave's proprietary "codebreakers" taxonomy for assigning key attributes to digital advertising campaigns, audiences, and business outcomes. You will have overall ownership for clients' data sets, structuring that data and preparing it across all stages of ETL. You will work closely with our client service teams to understand the business needs of our clients and partner with our data science teams to ensure your model can be easily and repeatedly leveraged for driving analytics and insights.
Critical skills and experience:
*You "major" in structuring all manner of large data sets, particularly in the cloud, but you also have a strong "minor" in understanding the KPIs and business decisions data is meant to support
*You are an expert in ETL
* Ideally, you've used Ads Data Hub to connect your clients' ad accounts into BigQuery
*You have multiple years' experience working directly with clients, or in a best-in-class organization known for the strength of its data science and data engineering teams
*You are familiar with digital advertising analysis and understand the core metrics and nuances around both performance as well as awareness/brand digital marketing
*You are highly collaborative, comfortable working with cross-functional teams, but able to move projects forward independently when needed
*You deliver "client-ready" work products, paying meticulous attention to detail and able to work efficiently against tight deadlines
Working Relationship
You can commit 10 hours to this project in May 2020, with the potential for this to expand into an on-going relationship with more than ten hours committed per month
You are able to sign a non-exclusive, part-time employment agreement
