We are looking for AWS Security Consultant who can do compliance mapping for AWS, for example, to map HIPAA with AWS best practices. Ideally, this will be ongoing engagement. As we want to publish bunch compliance mapping.

Responsibilities:

- Do compliance mapping for AWS such as mapping HIPPA with AWS best practices.
- Architect Cloud security solution to meet both real security and compliance requirements.
- Provide guidance on best security & operational practices in AWS.
- Address security and compliance challenges and provide cloud security solutions.
- Evangelize cloud security throughout the enterprise and drive changes needed to respond to emerging threats and business needs.
- Work closely with contracts, legal, and prospects to write contract language for security and compliance acceptable to all parties.
- Work with Developers in all states of SDLC to ensure security and compliance at every stage.
- Research, design, and develop new information security controls for clients. Assess current IT environments and make recommendations to increase security.
- Develop security policies and procedures and manage the protection of information systems & assets.
- Perform threat modelling and design reviews assessing security implications and requirements.


Person Specifications:

-B.S. degree in Cyber Security, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or relevant field.
-5-7 years of demonstrated cloud computing experience.
-5-7 years of demonstrated security, compliance and risk management experience.
-Experience implementing information security and privacy controls in the cloud environment.
-Compliance mapping certificates e.g. HIPAA, Soc2, PCI, SAS 70, SSAE 16
-Experience of securing software development, data protection, cryptography, key management, identity and access management, network security (VPNs) within SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, and other cloud environments.
-Hand-on experience with multiple security technologies.
-AWS certifications are a big plus.
-Industry security (e.g., CISSP), privacy (e.g., CIPP/US) or audit (e.g., CISA) certifications are a plus.
