We have created a successful business that is a live, interactive game show experience. Due to COVID-19, we are trying to pivot and begin offering an interactive version for team building (in addition to the games we already host in our facility).
Essentially, we are looking for a developer to create a system where our participants can remotely go to a password protected page on our website and play our game live. We will stream a mix that features our 'game show' host and games, while the guests will be placed on 2-4 teams to play against each other (typically 2 teams). We will provide all graphics for the UI in proper formats. We are COMPLETELY open to using API of existing video solutions (Just let us know what you'd use).
Here are essential features we are looking for:
* Show our game display via livestream to our participants.
* Ability to place the participants onto teams. Their video feeds would be grouped together on the page/screen that the participants see at all times.
* We want their name (or whatever they want to call themselves) to be under/over their video feed.
Here are our things we'd like to have if we can make it happen right now:
* Ability to 'feature' one person from each team (or more) on the main part of the page. They would be competing against each other during that time with our live video feed from our location.
* Ability for the participants to chat privately with ONLY their team if they wanted to. This could be by a chat box only visible to their team (although we're open to any options).
* Ability for a producer on our end to mute and unmute participants if needed.
* Possibly feature two live feeds from our location on the screen.
Here are a couple of 'dream' features:
* We'd love to have the ability for participants to 'buzz in' by clicking a mouse if we had a trivia question but that is not essential at first.
* We would want a visual 'scoreboard' for the teams that keeps track of scoring. A way to add points easily would be incredible.
I hope that makes sense. We do have some graphics we can provide as ideas, but we are willing to adjust what it looks like based on development limitations.
We will be adding more features in the future so we would probably end up being a continued customer of whomever develops this for us.
