Required Websockets,Golang freelancer for GoLang, Websocket - changes to existing repo job

We have a system that consumes JSON data from an external websocket service and feeds the internal system - a react native app. We need to make changes to this existing repo on a frequent basis.

Need someone who can
1) Spend some time in completely understanding what's happening in the repo - become a subject matter expert
2) Submit changes with a quick turn-around time
3) Can work on a long term basis (whevever changes are needed to the repo).
