I have a 454 square foot garage space and I am looking for an interior designer to draw up the best possible design to convert it into a 1 bedroom apartment(ADU).
I will share a rough drawing with shortlisted candidates. This drawing is a mirror image of the actual space. My architect is drawing up exact drawings which will be available soon. The area that is being converted is labeled '2 Car Built-in' in photo. The total area is 454 square feet.
We will provide the house in google images. The garage that is being converted is to the left of the front door of the main house.
I already have an architect who is familiar with local codes / regulations and will draw up the formal plans. I am looking for someone to advise on the best arrangement for the space. I want to know where to put the front door(Front or side of the house), where to put windows, where to put the bedroom, the kitchen, the living room, the laundry, bathroom, hallways(if needed), etc...
How much will it cost for you to advise me on this?
