The customer has a working connection (written in PHP) between the inventory system (which is used in the physical store) and the current Opencart webshop. We are building a new webshop in Woocommerce and the connection has to be modified to work with Woocommerce.
The import function does two things:
1. Using a cronjob it syncs the products from the inventory system to the webshop, including all color and size variations (products is mostly clothing).
2. On the product page in the webshop the stock is updated real-time, the moment a visitor opens a product page. This to prevent any products being ordered from the webshop that were just sold in the physical store.
The import works just fine and I will give access to all neccesary code of this function. However, it needs to be rewritten to work with Woocommerce.
