1) Registration

Increase sign up rates due to easy registration

Ability to register using email, Facebook or Linkedin
Upon Registration Admin has the ability to verify every profiles using different mechanisms (Manual Verification & Automatic Verification)
Customize the number of steps for our alumni's registration, we can also choose the mandatory fields that should be filled by our alumni to join the portal.
Notification & Updates:
Neat design that can briefly notify our community about latest notification, nearest events, latest jobs and all news posted by the admin and their fellow alumni
Alumni can interact by liking the shared posts and add their comments
Alumni will receive notification about the updates going happening in the community
Chat:
Messaging system that allows our community to connect and send messages.
Push notification will be received on mobile applications whenever they receive messages.
2) Networking Events and 9) Conferences

HAAA hosts 2 mega conferences per year - Harvard Arab World Conference ('HAWC') and Arab Conference at Harvard ('ACH'). HAAA also hosts many networking events along the year.

3) Jobs

The portal fulfills all the needs of students and graduates who are seeking employment opportunities by pointing out relevant opportunities posted by both employers and their alumni network.

Let our community organically exchange worldwide job opportunities (Fulltime, part- time & Internships).
Jobs are clearly displayed and can be expanded for more information
Users can apply for a job through their mobile device

4)Mentorship Program

HAAA aims to create a mentorship program between Alum and Students. It also aims to widen the network to better benefit the Arab community and transfer the know how.

5) Startup Initiative

HAAA startup initiative aims to support startups led by alumni and to forge a wider networking system that better serve the whole entrepreneurship ecosystem in the Arab world. Additionally it will help profiling Alum led Startups, providing the type of support for them to Scale and outlining different alum led VCs.

6)Qalam by HAAA - Newsletter / Journal of HAAA and 8) 3arabi Impact


Concept is to encourage alumni to post impactful initiatives on the mobile app possibly by thematic area and country in the Arab World. If it is of greater simplicity, we can in a first phase just have posts on different initiatives without categorizing by geography or theme.

For each post we would need:
- an overview of the initiative: a blurb about 300 to 500 words, videos of up to 1 min or podcast
- action plan:
how and where they are /would implement the initiative
Stage of the initiative: is it an idea, did they start implementing , what resources do they have
where they would want to scale it
what resources would be needed to scale it
what would be the time line for implementation
In terms of functionality, we would want alum to be able to like the initiative and comment on it ( allowing them to add videos, documents and photos in the comment section)
