I'm interested in pkpass-es cloud services to be able to generate Apple Wallet passes on the fly from this application. Ideally, I wold like to have the following scheme:
1. DB storage with necessary pass images and ability to upload the images using online DB panel, dashboard or whatever else. There could be hundreds of images for different cards.
2. Web service to generate signed pkpass ZIP archive and get it back to the application.
Details are as follows:
1. Images DB table:
- internal record ID (standard auto-generated key)
- imageID as ASCII string (index + search)
- imageAsset - PNG image representation
2. Storage on the server to store my certificate (I'll provide this file) for digital signing.
3. Web service to generate pkpass.
Input:
- passName;
- client secret - a constant string to identify the request ( ? ) or another security solution;
- array of imageID-s to include into pkpass;
- array of file names for these images (to rename image IDs into a proper file names);
- complete pass JSON as UTF8/UTF16 string to be renamed into pass.json and included into pkpass.
OUTPUT:
- passName.pkpass signed ZIP archive as a binary data or temporary URL to be able to download it from the server.
I will share some example with shortlisted candidates.
