Need a reliable architectural & MEP designer/engineer to work on a part time basis (15 to 30 hours a week) for on going weekly work. Immediate work available.
Work Description:
- To prepare base architectural plans following guidelines, layer styles, and utilizing best practices in drafting.
- Managing and updating drafting standards, blocks, etc.
- Utilizing SketchUp to create 3D details and exporting into AutoCAD.
- Electrical design, doing electrical load calculations, laying out outlets and other fixtures based n NEC 2014 requirements. Electrical riser diagrams as needed. Designs utilizing single, two and three phase designs.
- HVAC Design, to do energy load calculations and duct design calculations. Determining duct sizing based on required CFM per space.
- Plumbing design following fixture unit requirements (DFU) per Florida Building Code.
- Utilizing 20/20 design software for kitchen layout and shop drawings.
- At times to create calculation Excel spreadsheets based on code requirements.
