We are a 100% virtual, distributed, and highly collaborative team. Because each of us have many customers, including Nyymbus, as well as our personal lives, pulling at us, we must spend more time documenting (ie README.md, in-line comments, architectural diagrams, email) than the normal co-located team. To allow for autonomy, you must first get buy in from the team before you can then run at your goal.
We know this style of working isn't for everyone so if the above is not how you like to communicate, we respect your choice to not move forward. Thank you for your consideration.
This is a static S3 website created using Jinja2 variables, Bootstrap 4, generated via Python, and delivered to customers using a public facing S3 bucket.
We need your help optimizing data stores and reliability between our data collection (Mongo/NoSQL), abstraction (Mongo/NoSQL), and transformation (RDS/MySQL) processes. All of your solutions must be:
- deployable in code
- on demand scalable, event-based
- low cost
- python-based
Optimizations you make will need to be developed on branches in our private Bitbucket and approved by the owner, who built the pipeline from scratch. You will need to teach the owner why you are suggesting these optimizations through great in-line documentation of your code given the entire development team is virtual across the globe.
Your ability to communicate, collaborate, and educate is valued most of all in order to be effective in this role. Collaboration will be valued most of all over progress. I will share our architecture will be provide you for reference.
