Hello,
I need help with a senior project where we are creating a portable power bank that is charged by solar, wall charge, wind turbine, and hand crank . We are Mechanical Engineering students and we need help with the electrical portion of our project. We don't know what size USB & DC port & Battery to use, (we are thinking 2.1A , 4.5A and 16,000 mAh but are open).
We would like the device to have a charge level indicator light, the ability to charge device simultaneously, stop charging once the power bank's battery is full.
Can you create a circuit wiring diagram of this power bank? What other components do we need to make it work? How much would you charge?
That is charged by the following inputs:
1. USB port
2. Solar panel (0.5W 5V 100ma)
3. AC power generator powered by a hand crank (Output voltage & current : 3V-24V & 0.1A-1A , Rated power : 0.5-12W, Rated speed : 300-6000 rpm)
4. AC power generator powered by a wind turbine (Output voltage & current : 3V-24V & 0.1A-1A , Rated power : 0.5-12W, Rated speed : 300-6000 rpm)
With the outputs:
1. USB
2.USB
3. DC Laptop charging port
Thank you
