I would like to have a product configurator for our site
It would have to be integrated into the magento 2 store and there would be different product types I would want this for.
Please note that we would have to be able to set the choices (for example, there's a tube choice option that we would not need)
Most important is this:
LIVE PRICE CALCULATION
Manages complexity rules to calculate a real-time pricing for all possible configuration of the product. Pricing can depend on customer supplied measurements and/or combinations of selected components.
COMPONENTS AND PRODUCT MANAGEMENT
Allows you to add new or edit existing components and products, to manage prices, and enable/disable customizable product elements.
These are nice to have and great for future improvement, but not a must-have for the first version:
PRODUCT VISUALIZATION
Realistic product visualization lets you apply colours, textures, logos, pictures, text and product components during the configuration.
PRODUCT AND COST DETAILS
Following configuration, a PDF is automatically generated for download containing a breakdown of costs and all necessary product information.
SHARING AND EDITING
Unique links can be created to allow customers save configurations for later editing or for sharing with others.
Considering the fact that this will be a long term part of our site that will likely need revisions, changes and additions (that will be based on our experience working with the solution, as well as customer feedback), I would like to work with someone / an agency that can support the product after the initial build and develop it further.
This would mean a larger amount of hours in the building stage and after that a set amount of hours for support and further development (amount of hours to be determined on what both parties agree as reasonable)
The end goal is for the customer to be able to easily configure one or multiple products and pay for these on site, with all specs visible on the order, so we have all the information we need for production.
The first step would be to get a working prototype on which we can build.
