Seeking a highly experienced database developer with data analytics/extraction experience to create and develop an investor database. Our ideal candidate is someone with an Excel, data-scraping, data entry/extraction background. Bonus points for data science or data visualization skills. Ideally, this candidate will also be equipped to pull contact lists from this database which can be converted to mailer lists for our marketing and sales representatives.
Duties and Responsibilities
Note: The initial scope of this project is 3-4 days with the opportunity to explore ongoing opportunities. We will require an NDA for this project.
Work with the co-founders to create a high performance, extensible database to facilitate targeted mailing campaigns and data exploration. This includes but is not limited to:
Data Miner - Initial Task: Data Scraping, ETL, Search Macro development, targeted data export
(1) ETL
Take structured and unstructured raw data (supplied, excel & pdf) and create a columnar database with all data separated into searchable fields.
Perform basic data cleansing for typographical, duplication, omission type of errors
(2) DEVELOP SEARCH MACRO
Create user frontend interface (macro is ok) to interact with the data, so a user can search and separate the data into sub groupings based on any of the available columns
Search by multiple criteria
Search through dropdown menu from available column values
(3) DEVELOP EXPLORATION MACRO
Ability to drill from larger groups into sub group
Basic Data visualization (native to whichever platform is chosen)
(4) USER OUTPUT (Capability of Macros)
A list (subset) of database, exportable into a mail merge campaign platform
An updatable, searchable, living database of target investor groups / family office, cleansed and separated into all relevant fields.
Assume end user has little or no database / data mining experience
