-The overall device needs to log temperature and humidity at user selectable intervals (Second, Minute, Hour, Day)
-The temperature and humidity sensor I want to use the HDC1080 by Texas Instruments. (This will connect to the I2C? on the Rasberry PI)
-The device will be controlled by a Raspberry Pi Zero W
-The user can define a range, and an alert goes to the user if it goes out of range for either temperature or humidity.
-Some sort of on off button to power the entire unit on and off.
-The device needs to record the logs internally for at least 2 years onto the Micro SD Card
-The device needs to be able to communicate to a web server (will consider different options) to log the data
-Access to the web server or storage into MySQL database which lets the user generate reports at defined intervals (1 minute, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 12 hours, 24 hours, 7 days etc)
-The logger needs to be able to send the owner an alert if the temperature or humidity deviates from a designated range. Email and or text message would be ideal.
