Goal is:
Create a script which can be run in AWS Lambda that hits the Xero API.
This script will check all invoices that are in a draft status and examine the text in the PO Reference field.
If the text = [Month -1] it will replace this with last months name.
If the text = [Month] it will replace this with the current months name.
If the text = [Month +1] it will replace this with the next months name.
i.e. if we are in July and the text = [Month -1] then the text will be replaced with June.
Requirements:
Clear variables that we can update to reference our production Xero account post the jobs completion
Preferences:
Would prefer script in python but will also accept node.js
AWS requirements:
You will need to test this in your own AWS development account and run against our sandbox Xero account.
We will upload and setup AWS for our production account once the script is verified as working
