Project:
Lead the documentation
We are looking for a long term contract with an engineer who likes to write technical content (references, tutorials, etc) for other engineers or a tech writer with a strong engineering experience. We expect to find someone who has experience with Git, Markdown, code style, etc. We would really like to see an interest/experience in data science or machine learning. We expect the ability to communicate with the team to clarify details of the product and generate ideas how we can improve the documentation.
To start and check if it's a good fit we will pay for rewriting one (or a few) of the command reference documents will share with shortlisted candidates. The job itself is not limited to command references in any way! We want to find someone who can help us understand the product better, write examples like in get started. It will involve deep understanding how data scientists and ML engineers work and organize their projects.
I will share some sample link with shortlisted candidates . A good description, description of options, etc. Diagrams and good examples would be cool (we can help to draw, the idea in this case is more important).
In the future, the scope can be wider - we'll need to iterate on the website in general, we always have a few ideas of interesting blog posts/papers to write etc.
We have a very experienced team of data scientists and engineers working on the next generating of ML and data science tools that already has a good traction.
