Required Fire Protection Engineering freelancer for Fire alarm & Security systems Service Coordinator job

We are recognized as a Strategic Partner. We are looking for a fire alarm coordinator to lead and manage various projects for the Project Operations Department. Candidate should be: highly organized strong communication skills, be an articulate negotiator, and has the ability to work well under pressure. Candidate will have strong interpersonal and relationship management skills. Develop strategy and project plans with deliverables and milestones, costs, assigned resources for complex installation projects while also conducting pre-test and FDNY inspections and Identifying code issues and non-conformance issues, and make recommendations on alternative solutions to client/office. Experience in all phases of Project Management in construction, facilities, or life safety industries Required Education, Skills, and Experience: - Two-year Associate's degree in Engineering, (Electrical, Mechanical and/or Civil) and 6 years of project management experience in similar industry; or 8 years equivalent combination of education and experience. - Knowledge of fire alarm systems operation and functions, and fire alarm products (Siemens products preferred) - Expert knowledge of local and national (NFPA) fire alarm codes and knowledge of local and national sprinkler, elevator, electrical codes, and mechanical code. Experience with Americans with Disability Act (ADA) regulations and New York City building code and ability to read and review blueprints.
