We have a react native app on iPhone and Android, and we need your help making a performance enhancement.
We built a new feature that tracks your driving route. Your route is displayed on the screen in real time.
Your route can be tracked either while our app is open or when the app is in the background.
The problem is... if you drive on the highway with the app in the **background**, when you open the app again, the app requires time to 'catch up' to your location. The app is 'locked' and you cannot press any buttons until the route is fully drawn and 'catches up' to you.
This lagging issue **also occurs** after you have been driving for a while (30 minutes), even with the app **not in the background** the entire time.
We need your guidance - you can look at our code and tell us how to solve this issue or solve it yourself!
