The Simply Carbon Kitchen Compost Bin is a multi-piece compost bin designed to temporarily hold organic food waste from the kitchen. The bin is to be periodically emptied every few days into a larger compost station and therefore saves the owner frequent trips between the kitchen and their compost station.
Overall, the Simply Carbon Kitchen Compost Bin should be stylish looking, highly functional and made from premium material. It should be the most effective in the market for storing food scraps and preventing odors and pests, yet is also a stylist ornament that will complement a high-end modern kitchen setting.

Ideal Candidate:
The ideal candidate has at least 5+ years in Industrial Design, and is capable of designing products to strict requirements, from concept and design through to engineering drawings. The ideal candidate understands aesthetics and design, but also a practical understanding of materials and manufacturing. The designer therefore applies a practical and commercial lens to the concept design.
Ideally, the candidate also has an interest in sustainability, and has worked on products related to sustainability and composting in the past.
