We have a mature iOS app running in the Apple Store site that has had a lot of development done in the past year. This project will be 20 hours per week for 1 month.

The app uses several API calls, both internal to our own server using PHP/MySQL and to external APIs like Google Places and AWS S3 functionality. The app user experience has degraded significantly due to new features being developed and the app needing to make multiple calls to different services to execute the app functions. There is far too much wait and lag time that is negatively impacting the user experience. PHP dev experience a big plus to troubleshoot server side APIs used by the app on our server.

Python experience a huge plus.
