We are looking for an experienced and bilingual (English & German, French a bonus) Social Media Manager to work on our client’s Facebook and Twitter channels.
The right candidate will have an active interest, and ideally professional experience, in Consumer Electronics and all kinds of Tech (Hardware, Software, Trends).
You will be proactive in staying up to date with the latest news within this industry, and will also be familiar with current affairs going on in Germany to remain relevant.
As this is a remote role you will not need to be located in any specific location.
The role will include:
- Community Management on the Social Media Channels – actively engaging and responding to follow comments and product related queries. Building a rapport with the followers.
- Localizing English copy for the French market – translating proposed social media post copy for German social media users.
- Weekly/monthly reporting within the social media channels to determine any key information and metrics.
The role will be an ongoing 12 month contract that will require the candidate to dedicate up to 8 hours a week.
Ideally you will have:
- 2-3 years’ experience working on Social Media Marketing.
- Experience working in this industry (agency, client or freelance)
- Familiarity with Social Media management platforms like Sprinklr, Hootsuite, Buffer (or similar) regarding post scheduling and quality assurance.
- Fluent English and German
- Flexibility, with an ability to work remotely for a total of 8 hours/week, spread across the working week, working remotely.
