As it stands this would be a contingency project for either a patent attorney, patent agent, or a mechanical engineer. I have two ideas for stationary exercise equipment, both of which I believe are relatively simple to design, and build, that would have a large market, and would be easily licensable. I have a good patent attorney that I have used in the past. However, I do not at this point have the $8-10K for attorney fees, the additional several thousand dollars for each of design and for drawings, and for either or both of these. I was essentially looking for a partner to sign an NDA, look at my lay person writeup, and decide if he/she would want to be an angel and invest the necessary capital, and/or invest the necessary sweat equity.
My background is an MBA from NYU, and working in business development at a high technology company. My contribution here would be the idea and finding the licensee. The terms would be negotiable.
