We are a Commercial Construction Company primarily in Asphalt, Concrete and Snow Removal.
We currently waste a lot of time building excel worksheets from scratch and the rebuilding them or trying to transfer that data to a 'New and Improved' excel worksheet/ workbook.
This specific project is for our snow division. We are trying to accurately track the amount of labor, machinery, and material (salt) we use on properties to melt ice before it snows.
We want to take that data and determine our cost, revenue, profit, and profit per salt bag, profit per hour, and other basic financial calculations.
We are looking at a new method of applying liquid salt (Brine) and want to compare: Salt vs Brine Application for each one our properties as well as the whole operation.
We need someone to help us design an adequate template in an excel sheet or workbook that will enable us to enter our raw data and look at the results, rather than spend time formatting and adding new columns.
This project will involve multiple 1-2 hour meetings to help you understand the MANY factors and variables that impact this industry. All of which must be in the document so that if we need to input data we have the available cells. Then we will require instructions to learn how you designed the document so we can use it properly. Finally there will be revisions based on the complexity and range of the data we are looking to track.
This is a project for someone that is motivated to truly impact a business by enabling us to capture and analyze the knowledge and data we have.
