NFC (Near field communication)
CONTEXT
- Flutter app wants to use NFC to communicate with the full suite of devices out there. An ios phone wants to send data to an android phone via NFC and visa versa(android wants to send data to ios). Of course ios wants to send to ios and android wants to send to android.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
USE CASE
- Lets say we have an ios phone running the flutter app, we will call this the host device.
- Lets say we have an android phone running the flutter app as well, we will call this the receiver device.
- The host device clicks a button within the flutter app to trigger NFC so it can interact with the receiver device.
- Upon the NFC transaction the host device is able to send data to the receiver device. Happy to discuss the type of data being transferred. As of now thinking JSON that can accept any array of key/value pairs. But again hoping the professional can shed some light on this part.
- Upon the receiver device receiving the data it then returns to to the flutter app with the newly acquired data so the flutter app can trigger further functionality with the new available data.
Acceptance Criteria
- Needs to be easy to maintain for future up keeping.
- future proof
- clean
- reusable
- high standard coding practice
