We thought we were getting CADs and BOMs from a contractor but he is now only providing the CADs and the BOMs for the wood. We want to find an expert furniture designer or furniture manufacturer who has the skills needed to finish the job and the experience needed to get the initial numbers as close as possible. We will then protoype using the newly created BOMs and need the person to be available to be paid to refine the initial work to reflect the changes. As long as the initial work is high quality, we will continue to use you for the refinement process as well as a ton of upcoming jobs doing the same thing or the full CAD/BOMs (if possible) for the next several phases of furniture. We will be importing the BOMs into our E2 ERP so if you have any experience or ability to divide up/format the BOMs into the import sheet we will provide, even better - bonus but not necessity. Can outsource that if needed. I am not a manufacturing expert, just themiddle man for this project so if you have any pertinent questions or I am missing nay key data for this job just let me know and I will pass them along and get answers.
Product Overview:
-9 Sofas (11 width options each x 2 depth options each = 198 width/depth variants)
-9 Chaise Sectionals (8 width options x 2 depth options each = 144 width/depth variants)
-3 Corner Sectionals (4 width options x 2 depth options each) = 24 width/depth variants
-1 Bumper Sectional (3 width options x 2 depth options each = 6 width/depth variants)
-1 L-Sectional (1 width x 1 depth = 1 variant)
-9 Chairs (1 width x 1 depth each = 1 variant)
-14 Ottomans (1 width x 1 depth each = 1 variant)
-7 Beds (King, Queen, Full Size options each = 21 variants)
I have a spreadsheet with all the SKUs laid out and the dimensions needed, will be able to provide the full CAD files that have been through prototyping for reference, and will have the BOMs needed for the wood. I also have the list of parts we will be using in each product (including wood sizes and types, glue, types of screws, types of webbing, etc.) just not the amounts needed or the full BOM we need to import into our ERP for manufacturing purposes.
