The freelancer:
I am looking for a freelancer with an electronics background and with Python and Mysql skills.
They need to have experience with Raspberry PI and MariaDB.
They need to be reliable.
This is a long term project with many new features being added in the future.
The System:
Car parking ticket system using raspberry pi's and a desktop PC.
Entry Station:
The entry station detects a vehicle using a loop detector, the customer pushes the physical button and the receives a thermal ticket with a QR code.
Parts:
Raspberry Pi 3b+ (will upgrade to 4)
Thermal Printer
Barcode Scanner
Physical Button
Reception:
The reception PC runs raspbian on a desktop build, it has many settings and can check the ticket status. It can create tickets.

Exit Station:
The exit station detects a vehicle's presence and reads tickets using its barcode scanner, allows the customer to exit the car park.
