We need a simple connector to accept market and asset data output from an another application and distribute out as FIX 5.0sp2.
The one way flow:
API -> connector -> FIX
No trading is done via FIX, it's reporting/distribution of messages only.
Connector is to keep the current state of the asset only. History is not required.
Trades are market orders only.
Market data is bid/ask only. No altered, special or cancelled orders.
FIX interface is limited to 10 specific message types.
API to accept the static asset data, market and trade data sent from multiple sources. Format of this is flexible, but most likely xml/json.
This project will be used initially for testing and further development of the sending and receiving apps. Must be done with Python3 and quickfix.
